Phase 1 Update

St. Nicholas Revitalization Partners (SNRP) brings NYCHA and its residents a proven team with decades of experience in designing, constructing, and rehabilitating residential properties. Our expertise spans government procurement, MWBE and Section 3 hiring, site safety, cost controls, and resident engagement—all essential elements for delivering this once-in-a-generation modernization project at Saint Nicholas Houses.

From the beginning, residents have been at the center of shaping this transformation. Nearly 800 households cast votes to select new apartment finishes, choosing light gray cabinets, warm flooring, and modern fixtures that will define the future look of their homes.

As the design-build team, SNRP has also supported families through the Phase One temporary relocation moveouts. Our team hosted lobby events to distribute packing materials, answer questions, and provide one-on-one support. We also organized “Dumpster Day,” giving households an opportunity to safely discard unwanted items before their move—with movers on hand to assist those who needed extra help.

Between April and June 2025, 186 households from Phase One buildings successfully relocated to temporary homes, paving the way for construction to begin in Buildings 10 and 12.
